Collaborating Instead of Colliding with Clients

In my work as a project manager I have found that developing a collaborative relationship with a client is the most important key to a successful project. No matter what process you use, or how you specifically define success, many of the same challenges will come up around budget, timeline, and scope. Working through those challenges can be a rewarding part of the process or a total disaster, depending on the kind of relationship and culture that has been established between the consultant and the client. It is possible to intentionally create that culture. I want to talk about how to get there. I have some ideas and I'm hoping to learn some new ideas from you.
